Laurianne RIBES has been an Attorney at the Bar of Marseille since January 2005 after obtaining a grade of 17/20 at the Bar exam. She has a Masters in International Law and Environmental Law.
She succeeds Mr. Marc Guerin who was a renowned maritime and business Attorney.
After spending 10 years at a Law practice specialized in Maritime and Transportation Law where she worked on iconic suits such as the Erika and the Calypso cases, she decided to open her own practice.
Ms. RIBES is a member of the Association Française pour le Droit Maritime, and of the Légi- Plaisance Association.
She is highly reactive in the field of ship arrests. She has a sound experience in maritime, ground and air transportation.
Ms. Ribes is also familiar with Business Law. She advises on the drafting of legal documents and/or intervenes on internal or international claims.
Her French and international clients are mainly composed of ship-owners, insurers, bunker suppliers, export-import companies, merchants, commercial lenders, sailors...
